Rising Voices: Unleashing Young Women's Leadership Potential

Vital Voices will host a five-day leadership, communication and skills training program in Washington, D.C., in collaboration with the Adolescent Girls Initiative and in partnership with World Bank Group and Nike Foundation. 

This program will bring together young women from Afghanistan, Jordan, Liberia, Laos, Nepal and Southern Sudan. The program will culminate with an event hosted by World Bank President Robert Zoellick, which will highlight the Adolescent Girls Initiative and feature these young women’s stories. Following the program, participants will have the opportunity to be mentored by women in their communities and to implement community service projects with support from Vital Voices and its partners.
